STOCKTON, Calif. —

Several people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in San Joaquin County on Saturday, according to the sheriff's office.

The shooting took place in the 1900 block on Lucile Avenue in Stockton, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said.

It is unclear how many people were shot or how severe their injuries are.

The shooting is still under investigation and the scene is still active.
