As you walk through the bowels of the Principality Stadium, in the corridors that few will ever see, you are constantly reminded of the previous successes of Welsh rugby.

Grand pictures of Grand Slam celebrations. Jerseys from famous matches. All of it, a constant reminder throughout the many walks back and forth this autumn, of the unmitigated disaster that Welsh rugby has become.

Welsh rugby's cathedral, now a monument of everything that is wrong with this godforsaken game from Cardiff to Caernarfon.
