A state official then warns about potentially harmful effects of the herbal supplement kratom.
“Without proper education, people could just take this on and find themselves in an addictive spiral,” Evan Crocker, director of the state Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Division, says in the video. “They’re easily purchased from convenience stores and smoke shops and online.”
