South Louisiana businesses have recently announced the following promotions and new hires.

Morton Jensen has been appointed to the role of chief operating officer of Port NOLA, where he'll be tasked with overseeing port operations and delivery of the Louisiana International Terminal. Most recently, Jensen was terminal investment director for Terminal Investment Ltd. in Geneva, which is one of Port NOLA's financial partners for the planned new Violet terminal.
