Christmas markets are well-known for their food, drink, and trinket offerings, and there's always something to buy or try. One thing I'd managed to go almost 30 years without trying, however, was a bratwurst . For someone who loves meat, I don't really eat much sausage, and I will do anything to avoid menu items with the words 'meat platter' in.
However, my friend encouraged me to try it, because I might like it, and I have always felt a little curious about why people flock to this particular stall at the markets. I even noticed they had a 20-inch bratwurst , but I thought that was a little ambitious; however, for my first time.
