A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Sunday at 5:51 a.m. for snow showers until 6:15 a.m. for Northern Centre and Clearfield County.
"At 5:50 a.m., a heavy snow shower was located 12 miles southeast of Clearfield, moving northeast at 65 mph," according to the weather service.
Locations impacted by the alert include Philipsburg, Woodland, Osceola Mills, Chester Hill, Karthaus, Snow Shoe, North Philipsburg, Clarence, South Philipsburg, Moshannon, Pine Glen, Monument, Jeffries, Black Moshannon State Park, Morrisdale, West Decatur, Grassflat, Kylertown, Wallaceton and Orviston.
