PHILADELPHIA — If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan who used the bathroom while they had the ball on Friday night, they were probably punting by the time you got back to your couch.
That’s how inept and listless the Eagles’ offense was in a 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Jalen Hurts was inefficient and off the mark. Saquon Barkley struggled to do much behind a beleaguered offensive line. Kevin Patullo’s play-calling was disjointed and seemingly without purpose. The Eagles were playing the hits in the most mind-numbing way imaginable.
All of that contributed to the Eagles continuing their most concerning trend of the 2025 season — leading to fans booing and the dam finally breaking on defense.
