This morning will be chilly and below freezing in our counties surrounding middle Tennessee. Any rain that has fallen may freeze on the roads in those areas, so be extra careful on your commute. Higher elevations may receive some sleet, but no accumulation is expected from that. Rain showers in the valley will last until 3:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM CST. The high will be cool again at 50 with mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be slightly calmer this afternoon.
