December football is almost upon the Green Bay Packers . And so is Bears Week.
After a road win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving to complete a sweep of the two-time reigning NFC North champions, the Packers are off until next Sunday, Dec. 7.
That's when the Packers (8-3-1) play the surprising first-place Chicago Bears in a division showdown. The winner will have the NFC North lead with four games left.
Like the Packers, Chicago (9-3) already played in Week 13 and also had a victory on the road when it beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday , an outcome that had everyone's attention.
Now, the two rivals can enjoy some Thanksgiving leftovers on Sunday, Nov. 30, and monitor the crowded NFC playoff picture before their must-see matchup in seven days.
