A local restaurant is celebrating after a brace of burger wins at a recent foodie award ceremony. Warwickshire's Libertine Burger walked away with two gongs at the inaugural British Burger Awards held earlier this month.

The burger brand, which has restaurants in Leamington Spa , Rugby and Stratford-upon-Avon , scooped Best Restaurant Burger and Best of the West Midlands in the awards, which recognise the finest burgers in Britain and the passionate individuals and innovative businesses behind them.

The inaugural British Burger Awards celebrated independent operators, high street chains and street food pioneers, with a ceremony taking place at the Novotel Centre Birmingham on 17 November.
