Loveland will observe Pearl Harbor Day at noon Sunday, Dec. 7, at Dwayne Webster Veterans Park, 401 W. 13th St.

The park’s namesake, Loveland resident Harold “Dwayne” Webster, was just 18 when he was one of the 2,403 killed in the Pearl Harbor attack on Dec. 7, 1941, one year to the day that he enlisted in the service at the age of just 17. He served on the USS Arizona, and was Loveland’s first casualty of World War II.

Visit Loveland and Centerra will hold the Loveland Holiday Market at 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Loveland Visitor Center, 5400 Stone Creek Circle.

The event will offer holiday shopping and community spirit, with the Valentine Flea local vendors with unique and handmade gifts, Santa visits and a free photo with Santa inside the Chamber of Commerce, and alpine sl
