Four people were killed, and 10 were wounded in a shooting at a Stockton, California , banquet hall on Saturday evening, county police and local officials said.

A family gathering was being held at the venue when the shooting occurred, and victims included children and adults. The shooter remains at large, and several California agencies are searching for the suspect, San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas confirmed Saturday evening.
