A rollover crash shut down part of Route 9 in Putnam County and left multiple people injured.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, in front of the Garrison Fire Company Station 2 at 1616 Route 9, the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company said.
Fire crews soon arrived to find an overturned vehicle and injured occupants inside. They secured the area and closed the southbound lane to protect responders and passing drivers.
Members of the Garrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Philipstown Ambulance treated the injured occupants at the scene.
The southbound lane stayed closed as firefighters and EMS worked, and until a tow truck removed the vehicles. The roadway was fully reopened at 3:25 p.m.
