A Christmas flash mob involving 100 young dancers brought crowds to a standstill in Greasby as Mariah Carey’s festive classic rang out across the village. The surprise performance, featuring dancers aged 11 to 18, was organised by Emma Fletcher, from Greasby, who runs Wirral-based dance school Danza.
This year marks the school’s 20th anniversary, and Emma described the performance as "a lovely end to a great year". The 44-year-old was approached ahead of the Light Up Greasby show and asked whether she would consider staging a flash mob, which is something she had never attempted before.
