WARMINGTON: The Great One joins Trump, other greats on golf course

Wayne Gretzky went golfing Saturday with his friends from Florida where he lives.

And what a foursome this was — all at the invitation of Donald Trump on the two-time president’s own golf course.

Pretty cool. It’s fantastic. Sometimes the politics can wait.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall of those golf carts on the beautiful 18 holes at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

There must have been some pretty good banter and teasing during that round. The president, after all, has routinely jokingly called Gretzky “the governor” of the 51st state of Canada but then later made him a “free agent” understanding he’s Canadian — first and always.
