The chilly temperatures might be here too soon for some people’s liking, but for others it means an early start to the skating season.
The Prince Arthur’s Landing ice rink at Marina Park officially opens on Monday. The rink will be operating daily from noon to 9 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to the rink this winter season,” said Catherine Wilson, community and event development co-ordinator with the City of Thunder Bay.
“This space brings our community together in a truly meaningful way — from families sharing their first skate to neighbours reconnecting by the outdoor fireplace. It’s a place where winter feels brighter, and we’re excited to see it come alive again.”
