Hudson County election officials took the rare step of allowing early voting on Sunday for the Dec. 2 runoff elections scheduled for Tuesday in Jersey City and Hoboken.

Early voting will only happen on Sunday until 1 p.m., at the County clerks office at the Hudson County Administration building, 257 Cornelison Avenue, Jersey City.

Limited parking is available and voters should be prepared to go through courthouse security in order to enter the building.

The Jersey City race pits Jersey City Councilman James Solomon against former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey in addition to several council races in individual wards.

Hoboken voters will decide between council members Emily Jabbour and Michael Russo for mayor.
