A Mexican restaurant that opened in New Orleans shortly after Hurricane Katrina will temporarily close due to the fear and disruption brought by the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement actions .
Taqueria Guerrero, at 208 N. Carrollton Ave. in Mid-City, plans to close at the end of business Sunday, Nov. 30, for an undetermined time.
A manager at the restaurant confirmed the plans and asked not to be identified by name. He said the restaurant's owners plan to reopen when they feel it is safer for their staff and customers.
