For Russell Howard, it always feels like a full circle moment whenever he performs in Liverpool. The 45-year-old shot to stardom with his role as a regular panellist on Mock The Week and he has been a household name in comedy ever since.

The comic has been touring across the UK making people laugh for more than two decades and he told the ECHO in an exclusive interview how it was in the Albert Dock , at Liverpool's famous Rawhide comedy night, where his professional career officially got underway with his first payday.
