A new storm is making its to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the U.S., expected to bring up to a foot of snow by Tuesday.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Lewis County, New York, through overnight Monday.

And officials expect anywhere between 4 and 8 inches of snow, with Tug Hill and the southern half of the county receiving the most snow, ABC affiliate WWTI reported.

The station reported that snowfall will result in snow-covered roadways and restricted visibility and cautioned travelers to drive slowly.
