The New England Patriots can avenge the New York Giants on Tommy DeVito’s behalf this Monday.

DeVito emerged as a fan favorite when playing for the Giants as an undrafted rookie in 2023, but they released the New Jersey native before the 2025 campaign. The quarterback has spent the season on New England’s practice squad as an emergency third-string quarterback.

Barring injuries to Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs, DeVito won’t suit up against his former team on “Monday Night Football.” While he expressed no hard feelings toward the Giants organization, via MassLive’s Karen Guregian , the 27-year-old is naturally rooting for a Patriots win.

“I loved my time there,” DeVito said. “When I was there, it was, ‘Go Giants,’ but now it’s ‘Go Pats’ all the way. I hope we blow them out.”
