After 3-6 inches of snow blanketed the Twin Cities metro area on Saturday, both Minneapolis and St. Paul have declared a snow emergency.

"After consulting with operational staff and public safety officials, the City of Minneapolis has declared a Snow Emergency beginning today, November 30. City crews have been plowing and treating streets to keep them drivable," city officials said around noon Sunday.
