Florida football has hired its second straight head coach making a jump from the Group of 5 to the SEC.
Tulane’s Jon Sumrall , 43, was named the new leader of the Gators’ program on Sunday, Nov. 30. Sumrall has either reached or won a conference championship in every season he’s been a head coach, which he accomplished at Tulane and Troy. In his four seasons as a head coach, Sumrall is 42-11 all-time.
