Matt Lauer is now looking to get back into media years after he was ousted from the TV sector. Lauer was a former host of the Today show, presenting on the program for over 20 years. Over the course of his two-decade tenure there, Lauer featured on over 900 episodes.
His time abruptly ended in 2017, during the height of the #MeToo movement. In November 2017, a former colleague of the Today show host came forward with a complaint that detailed Lauer's inappropriate sexual behavior towards her. NBC then conducted an in-depth investigation, which culminated in his firing shortly thereafter.
As per People , Lauer is now planning a return to the media in some capacity. An unnamed insider provided an update on the disgraced host, saying that he is " doing well in his private life
