SALT LAKE CITY — At the conclusion of the 2025 regular season, both BYU and Utah football find themselves sitting comfortably in the top 15 of the AP Top 25 college football poll.
The Cougars come in at No. 11, and the Utes sit at No. 15.
BYU entered the week 14 matchup against UCF with slightly lower stakes after clinching a spot in the Big 12 title game before kickoff.
Still, they took care of business with a convincing 41-21 win over the Knights. Quarterback Bear Bachmeier completed 21 of his 25 pass attempts for 289 yards and a touchdown. Running back LJ Martin took 22 carries for 95 yards and a hat trick of rushing scores.
After going down 14-0 in the first, the Cougars showed they can face adversity head-on and scored 38 points in the second and third quarters.
