LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — The suspect wanted after a fire was set overnight at a church in Lake Havasu City is now in custody, according to authorities.

The city's police department said Keith Gensamer, 49, was taken into custody about two miles south of Lake Havasu City on Nov. 30.

The police department's investigation into the arson began in the early morning hours of the same day at 1:30 a.m., with the report of a burglary and a fire alarm at Calvary Church, located at 3100 Sweetwater Avenue.

Officers got to the church and found it on fire; they also found signs that the church had been broken into.

"Once the fire was extinguished, investigators found substantial evidence indicating the incident was an act of arson," police said in a news release.
