The North East's 'radgiest' pub has been named as Newcastle bar takes first place

Staff at a well known boozer in Newcastle is very proud of the fact that it has been named the 'radgiest' pub in the North East. And they're so chuffed with taking the title that a sign has already gone up on the bar.

Now, if there's something we all know, is that whether you're in Newcastle city centre or further afield, there are some great places to go for a pint and some of them have been welcoming customers for years. Rather than heading to one of town's more classy establishments, there is nothing a lot of Geordies like better than going for a few drinks down their local, or to a place where you get as much value of money from the people you meet and the stories they'll tell you, as you do your cheap drinks.
