What : Two Division 5 heavyweights square off, both intent on adding to their legacies. Notre Dame Prep is the defending state champion, having defeated Frankenmuth in the 2024 Division 5 state champion.

West Catholic is making its first Division 5 state-final appearance since 2017, when it capped a string of five consecutive state championships. The Falcons also own a Division 6 state title in 2022, a Division 5 state championship in 2010
