The incident occurred following a Belfast District Football League (BDFL) Cup match between Kelvin Old Boys FC U21s and Westland YM FC at Mallusk Playing Fields on Saturday.

Footage circulated online appears to show a number of Westland players engaged in an attack on a single player from Kelvin Old Boys FC outside a changing room.

A second video also appears to show fights breaking out between the two sets of players on the pitch.

Footage of the scuffle outside the changing rooms was posted by Kelvin Old Boys FC on their Facebook page, with the club describing the incident as a “total disgrace”.
