Lane Kiffin is officially leaving Ole Miss for LSU, and one analyst says he will bring the Tigers to the promised land.
“Lane Kiffin will win a national championship in Baton Rouge,” ESPN Insider Paul Finebaum said Sunday morning on “SportsCenter.”
Kiffin, 50, accepted a reported 7-year, $98 million offer to take over at SEC rival LSU.
“I made the difficult decision to accept the head coaching position at LSU,” he wrote, in part, in his official announcement.
Ironically, Kiffin had a chance to win a national championship this season but won’t coach Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff despite a desire to do so.
