A weak cold front will bring a few light showers to Eastern NC tonight, followed by a cooler and breezy Monday with highs only around 50–55°.

A stronger coastal low moves in Tuesday, prompting heavy downpours with the potential to produce 1–2″+ of rain, gusty winds, hazardous marine conditions, and the potential for minor coastal flooding during an upcoming king tide cycle.

The storm pulls away Tuesday night with colder, dry air settling in Wednesday and Thursday before another system brings renewed rain chances late in the week.
