After Purdue football's 2026 signing class lost a receiver last week, it gained one Sunday.

Jojo Johnson, a three-star prospect from Richmond (Va.) Bennedictine, flipped his commitment from Coastal Carolina to the Boilermakers. He joins Miami's Brandon Kinsey as receivers committed to the class, which can begin signing Wednesday.

Johnson made an official visit for the Old Oaken Bucket game this past weekend. He had been committed to Coastal Carolina since June.

Johnson is ranked outside the national top 2,000 and 305th among receivers in the On3/Rivals industry rankings. Johnson was the second 2026 addition of the weekend, joining Iowa Western Community College safety Dax Noles.
