BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - The Biloxi City Council is set to consider two resolutions on Dec. 2 that move the city in different directions: a new partnership with Back Bay Mission and the Biloxi Police Department to coordinate outreach to people living unsheltered, and termination of a long-standing agreement with the Mississippi Renaissance Garden Foundation after repeated maintenance lapses at the Renaissance Garden in Hiller Park.
The first resolution authorizes the city and the Biloxi Police Department to enter a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Back Bay Mission for 2025–2026.
