Chester police were called Sunday about 6:20 p.m. to the 200 block of West 22nd Street for a shooting.

They were told it was a 30-year-old victim with a leg injury, and that was confirmed upon arrival. Officers said the wound was to the lower right leg, according to police radio traffic..

One of the officers applied a tourniquet. There was no description of a shooter.

An ambulance soon went en route to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
