PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new law is set to take effect in Philadelphia, aimed at making rent more affordable in the city.
The Move-In Affordability Plan was introduced to City Council earlier this year, and signed by Mayor Cherelle Parker back in September.
Under the new law, landlords are required to offer installment payment options for security deposits that cost more than one month's rent.
