Starting Monday, parts of I-95 will be shuttered overnight for roadwork between Packer Avenue and Callowhill Street.
PennDOT officials have announced that, starting Monday night, crews will be closing parts of I-95 through South Philadelphia for an overnight construction project this week.
Starting Monday at 9 p.m., and running through midnight, PennDOT said, crews will shutter one lane along I-95 between Packer Avenue and Christian Street. Then, from midnight through 5 a.m., that same area will see two lanes closed in both directions.

Officials said the closures will allow crews to do line striping, barrier installation, shoulder reconstruction and inlet repairs in those areas.
