PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was critically injured following a police-involved shooting Sunday morning.
According to police, officers responded to 10th and Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia around 4:15 a.m. for a report of a person with a gun.
Investigators say officers told her to drop the gun.
They say she refused and pointed the gun at them.
That is when two officers opened fire.
Three bullets struck the woman.
She is currently being treated at Temple University Hospital.
