The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced that more imported cookware could be leaching lead into food.

The FDA has updated an alert from August with additional products that could be leaching lead into food when used to cook.

The recall affects imported cookware products made from aluminum, brass and aluminum alloys, known as Hindalium/Hindolium or Indalium/Indolium, according to the FDA.

Young children, women of child-bearing age, and those who are breastfeeding may be at higher risk for potential adverse events after eating food cooked using these products.

The agency is warning retailers not to sell and consumers not to use the following products:

Sonex aluminum pot, manufactured by Sonex Cookware

IKM aluminum saucepan with 9″ wooden handle, manufactured by JSM Food
