Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders called a reporter’s question ‘rude’ after the team’s 26-8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
A reporter asked Sanders about Browns coach and offensive play-caller Kevin Stefanski and the aggressive decisions to keep the offense on the field for two fourth-and-1 situations in their own territory that failed and led to turnovers on downs. Sanders disliked the premise of the question.
“First, that’s a rude question to ask if I think it was a great call by my coach,” Sanders said.
When the reporter tried to clarify and point to the aggression element, Sanders held firm on his decision not to answer the question.
