ST. PAUL — Concordia-St. Paul's Ben Kopetzki made a pair of free throws with 10 seconds remaining in overtime and Minnesota State Moorhead's Dominic Gooden missed a 3-pointer in the closing seconds as the Golden Bears came away with a nonconference 111-108 win Sunday at the CSP Thanksgiving Classic.
The Dragons led by as many as 12 points in with 9:22 to play in second half after a pair of free throws by Kabine Kaba before the No. 21 Golden Bears stormed back with a 21-8 run to take a one-point lead. MSUM's Isa El-Amin hit a 3-pointer with 27 seconds left in regulation to tie the game and Kopetzi missed a shot for CSP at the buzzer to send it into OT.
Gooden pulled the Dragons within two at 105-103 with a pair of free throws with 1:12 to play in OT and within one at 109-108 with 12 secon
