FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Just hours after he was announced as Arkansas football's newest head coach on Nov. 30, Ryan Silverfield addressed the fans and his new team, promising some "deserved" success.

On Sunday, Arkansas Athletics announced Silverfield, the head coach at the University of Memphis, would take over as Head Hog following a two-month, nationwide search.

Following the announcement, he addressed fans in a video posted to social media, saying this:

"Razorback Nation, this is your new head football coach Ryan Silverfield. Can't wait to get to Fayetteville and get started. We're going to bring a lot of success to the Hogs that is so well deserved. Can't wait to see you, go Hogs."
