NILES TREE LIGHTING: The Niles Lions Club will host the annual Christmas tree lighting 6:30 p.m. today at the safety service complex. There will be instrumental music and caroling by Niles McKinley High School students. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will attend. The tree will be lit by Miss Niles and Little Miss Niles.

SANTA AT GIRARD FREE LIBRARY: Santa Claus will be at the Girard Free Library at 6 p.m. today. Santa will arrive by fire truck. The Grinch will also be there. The public can take photos with Santa and the Grinch in the Christmas tree lane or mini Whoville. In addition, the public can decorate holiday cookies.

NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING: The Northwest Neighborhood Association monthly meeting is 6:30 p.m. today, at Grace Methodist Church on Drexel Avenue. The speaker is Franco Lucarel
