SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Brookings got hit with a snowstorm right as the Jackrabbits were getting ready to host their first FCS playoff game of the year.
More than four inches of snow fell on Saturday, but that didn’t stop the Jacks from getting a dominant 41-3 win, or the fans from supporting their team.
Chase Mason, SDSU football senior quarterback said, “The real fans were coming today and I don’t know how many people ended up coming to the game but it was loud on the sidelines.”
Dan Jackson, SDSU football head coach said, “Our community and our support is special and it’s been all year. The sellouts are amazing, but I remember as an assistant being here hearing the crowd back in the old stadium, you know when it was Coughlin and the people that showed up to those games
