The Disney animated film sequel earned $156 million domestically in its five-day opening weekend and more than $556 million globally.
It's now the highest global animated film opening of all time, according to Deadline. It's also the highest global opening for any animated film in Disney history.

"Now You See Me: Now You Don't" took the number three spot with $7 million in its third weekend.
