The BBC Scotland headquarters in was evacuated this morning after a fire broke out in the building. The was discovered in a plant room on the fifth floor of the Pacific Quay building at roof level.
A went off at around 6:30am on Monday, December 1, and all staff were forced to leave the building. was taken off air and breakfast television bulletins were suspended.
The Breakfast show switched to pre-recorded and then went on to feature Radio 5 Live in its place. The show, presented by Martin Geissler and Laura Maciver, came back on air shortly after 8.30am.
