CLEVELAND, Ohio — With Thanksgiving now in the rearview, the first full week of the girls high school basketball season is in the books.

The top three teams in the preseason rankings solidified their spots with wins over teams ranked inside the top 10, as No. 1 Magnificat defeated then-No. 7 Medina, No. 2 Archbishop Hoban beat then-No. 9 Twinsburg to open its season, and No. 3 Olmsted Falls took care of then-No. 8 Brush.

This week sees two new teams enter the Top 25, as St. Joseph Academy is ranked No. 23 and CVCA is No. 24.

1. Magnificat (3-0)
