Fire engines and police cars blocked a residential street in Coventry following 999 calls. They were seen in the Meadfoot Road area of the city on Saturday afternoon (November 29).

CoventryLive contacted West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS)about the incident and a spokesperson confirmed that they responded to 999 calls at just after 1.40pm on Saturday afternoon. Police patrol cars blocked access to part of the road.

A WMFS spokesperson explained that two fire engines and a 4x4 brigade response vehicle from Binley and Coventry stations attended the scene. They first arrived within five minutes of being mobilised.
