LOUISVILLE, Ky. — For the second year in a row , the graves of every veteran at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery will be decorated for the holidays.

There are 11,000 veterans at that cemetery.

Last year marked the first time enough people donated wreaths to cover every headstone.

Wreaths Across America is a national effort to honor those who served.

Brownsboro Hardware and Paint is one of the many businesses involved in helping the organization reach its goal.

"It's a great honor," owner Doug Carroll said. "You get to see a lot of veterans there, a lot of emotional veterans there. So it's, it's quite the experience."

Monday is the last day to buy a wreath to make sure they're created and shipped in time to be placed on the graves Saturday, Dec. 13.
