The Alex Golesh era has begun at Auburn football .

Auburn athletics department made the move on the former USF coach Sunday morning, and he is set to be the Tigers 33rd head coach in program history.

2004-2005

Golesh began his career at Ohio State as a student assistant under then coach Jim Tressel. During his time with the Buckeyes, Golesh worked with the defensive line alongside Jim Heacock.

2006-2007

Golesh served as the graduate assistant at Northern Illinois.

2008

Golesh served as the graduate assistant at Oklahoma State.

2009-2011

Golesh was hired as the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at Toledo in 2009 working under Tim Beckman, who he also worked under at Oklahoma State as a defen
