Bristol City looked "much hungrier" than Portsmouth in what proved to be a definitive opening 25 minutes at Fratton Park, according to John Mousinho, with the Pompey boss feeling his side gave the Reds' early momentum in their win on the south coast.

The Robins bounced back from their midweek defeat at Wrexham to secure a first three points away from Ashton Gate in four matches with a 1-0 win over Portsmouth on Saturday lunchtime . In the end, Anis Mehmeti's sixth goal of the season, which came early in the first half, proved to be the winner.

City started on the front foot on the south coast , and had a couple of opportunities to pull ahead prior to Mehmeti's opener. Scott T
